My mom sent me this picture of my Great Aunt Margaret the other day. It appeared in the Presbyterian Home’s annual Mother’s Day card she received as the chair of her church’s missions committee. I have no idea when the picture was taken, or whose dog was visiting her, but I love the photo! Since Aunt Margaret died in November, new pictures of her aren’t something we get.

I love soaking in all the photo’s details too. Who gave her the flowers in the left corner by the lamp? I don’t remember her having a bed with hospital rails the last time I saw her. When did she get that? Why? Is that a box of wipes behind her? Was she in her room, or someone else’s?

Regardless of the answers, its great to have a new, surprise photo, and see her looking exactly like I remember her.
