Growing up, we had a wide assortment of plastic placemats, all of them of the educational variety. We had placemats that listed Presidents, maps of the United States, World Maps, manners, and table setting. I totally credit my knowledge of how to set a table to that placemat (and my Dad telling us the fork went on the left because he was left-handed and it was easier for him).

When I was perusing Anthropologie during a slow moment at work and saw this, I gasped and then laughed.

How cute is this? And what a classy, stylish way to teach kids to set the table? Definetly a step-up from my old primary colored, plastic mats.
