This weekend was action-packed and fun filled! Friday night, Hubby and I went to a game between the farm team for the Atlanta Braves and the Boston Red Sox. We’re lucky enough to live about 20 minutes from the Red Sox’s stadium here, so we can go frequently. Plus, general admission tickets are on $7, and they have some of my favorite ball park foods! The game really wasn’t that good or exciting, the teams are the lowest level farm teams, but we had a wonderful time.

Saturday, we traveled to one of my best college friend’s wedding. It was wonderful to see all my college friends, and the bride looked GORGEOUS!

dsc03775The wedding was in her grandparents backyard, overlooking the mountains, and was garden themed. The bride has a real love of musicals, flowers and fruit, and the wedding definitely reflected that. The grandparents were escorted down the aisle to “My Favorite Things,” the bridal party walked down to “Edelweiss,” and the bride was escorted by both of her parents to “How do You Solve a Problem Like Maria?”.

dsc03786The bride and groom’s love of their friends and family was reflected at the end of the ceremony, where personally greeted each person who attended as they left their seats.
